MSP430F5529: USB2MDIO read issue

Hi support team

I try the MSP430F5529 LaunchPad with USB2MDIO tool and connect our FPGA platform with 3V3 IO, the write operation is correct, but read operation will shift 1-bit. do you have any suggestion on it?

the firmware is USB_2_MDIO_F5.hex in the USB2MDIO tool.

Hi Danny,

Which PHY device are you trying to communicate with? Is it an EVM or your own board?
Can you provide an example of the issue your are seeing? (i.e. the output of the USB2MDIO tool)
Have you gone through the user guide below, and made sure the connections and software setup are correct?

and swap P4.1 and P4.2. The issue is solved.
