msp430 experimenters Board - schematic and board layout

Can anyone tell me what software I need to use to view the msp430 experimenters board schematic and board gerbers? I tried Eagle from Cadsoft but this wouldn't open it. In particular I'm trying to confirm which pins from the FG4618 connect to the UCA0RXD and UCA0TXD channels that supply the isolated RS232 comms port.. is it pins P2.4 and P2.5??

the 4619EXP board package should have the Eagle design files (.sch and .brd for schematic & board, respectively). These files can be opened by EAGLE.

The gerber files can be opened by a gerber viewer tool, such as ViewMate by Pentalogix.

Thanks. I've downloaded and can view the gerbers using Viewmate.

On a related point, I'm trying to get a test UART programme to echo a character to the RS232 o/p on this board, which I believe is from pins P2./P2.5 which drive the isolated RS232 Comms port on this board. However, one of the code examples, 'msp430xG461x_usart1_uart_9600.c' which does echo a character but seems to do this to pins P4.1/P4.0 and I can't seem to 'read' these characters when I connect the MSP430 experimenters board RS232 port to my laptop RS232 port (using a DB9 male-to-female cable) and running hyperterminal to send/read characters. Any suggestions?

if different pins are being used in the code examples, I suspect different USCI peripheral is being used. You would need to change the code example accordingly to get it to work with the pins on the EXP board. Better yet, please download the code example package specifically made for this EXP 4619 board. SW/UG/other links can be found on the kit product page.
