Hello Team,

My customer is currently developing a ultrasonic flow sensor and therefore they would like to have the source code of the "Ultrasonic Sensing Design Center". Is it possible to receive the source code for it?

    Hi Renan,

    It is impossible to show all the source code to customer.

    Can you tell me why customer need the source code?

    Hello Eason,

    Thank you for this response. The "Ultrasonic Sensing Design Center will be the application to get the flow meters up and running in a robust way. They want to implement the same interface. So they are looking for long-term availability (10 and more years) of the "Ultrasonic Sensing Design Center. Is there a way they can make sure of the availability of this software? What are the plans behind it?

    Hi Renan,

    1. We will keep the device to be supported for at least 10 years from RTM(Y2018). As this software will be paired with Ultrasonic Sensing MSP430, that means the Ultrasonic Sensing Design Center will have at least 7 year lifecycle. Customer even can download it from website outside TI. As it is an offline software, customer even can keep it by themselves.

    2. Till now we are still promoting Ultrasonic Sensing, have no plan to kill this product.

    3. Besides, MSP430 have about 30 years life, we don't have any plan to kill it.
