MSP430FR5989: ESI doesn't work on FR5989

Part Number: MSP430FR5989

Hi all,

I did a previous post where I explained that I'm migrating my EVMSP430FR6989 into MSP430FR5989 chip, the application on 6989 works well and the things I took in mind for migrating was:

  • GPIO ports (they are not the same, so first of all I've put all of them to output low, later I will use the ones i want)
  • Everything about LCD off.
  • Interrupt handler for turn on/ff the LCD out.

The thing is that the micro is doing strange things since the beginning, I've debugged and it stops in esiConfig() function, where the DAC, PSM and so on are initialzed (i've turned on the motor disk). and still does weird things.

This is a caption of power consumption, seems like it's on a timer or something like that. Does anyone has an idea of what can it be? Or something I've should done in the migration part?

Best regards

Samuel
