Hello,
Could you tell me how long it will take to calibrate at startup and run-time?

Hi,
Which calibration function you mean here? The captivate function?
Best regards,
Cash Hao
Hi,
I asked our Captive expert about it. He said the start up calibration usually takes for 1 second. It can also take 2 to 3 second on some conditions. And we do not have run time calibration, it only needs to calibrate once at MCU power up.
Best regards,
Cash Hao
Hi,
It depends on how many pins you need to do run-time calibration. It is better to test how long it takes.

Cash Hao
Hi Cash Hao,
Thank you for your reply.
About run-time recalibration, could you tell me some questions described below?
1.Is it done for each sensor group surrounded by a red line?
2,Does run-time recalibration always apply to all elements in a sensor group?
3.Does the time required for run-time recalibration depend on the number of elements included by one sensor group?
4.During run-time recalibration, if there are sensor groups that are not targeted, do they detect touch?
Regards,
U-SK
Hi,
1. You can also done run-time calibration on one pin.
2. No, it will calibrate each pin you want.
3. Yes.
4. No, when the MCU runs calibration process, there will be no touch detected.
Best regards,
Cash Hao
