Hi team

MSP-FET can not download the program, and I got the information below 

MSP430: Trouble Writing Memory Block at 0x8000 on Page 0 of Length 0x1a8: Could not write device memory
MSP430: File Loader: Verification failed: Target failed to write 0x8000
MSP430: GEL: File: C:\Work_MSP430I2021\CCS\timer_a_ex1_continuousOverflowInterrupt\Debug\timer_a_ex1_continuousOverflowInterrupt.out: Load failed.

Note: CCS version is 10.3.00007

    Thanks for posting your question on E2E. For future posts, please use a more descriptive title, not just the part number. One of the purposes of the forum is to allow other community members to search for similar questions and answers. If they faced this issue, then a thread with just the part number would probably not show up. I have updated the title.

    I suspect they are using the MSP430i2020 device and are using a MSP430i2021 project in CCS. Notice in Table 9-16 in the datasheet, the main memory of the i20x0 devices starts at 0xC000 rather than 0x8000. Please have them change the device under the CCS project properties.
