MSP430F67791A: "emSwLib.h" library issue

Can you please provide some additional information about the calibration failure?  Are they receiving an error?  Code getting stuck?

This is what I got from the customer, please check his message below.

The issue we facing is that we first calibrated Power Factor at Unity PF and after that 0.5(lag) PF.
then we go for Power Factor check at Unity PF but it was not accurate . so I think that the calibration is not done properly.

So its like that if we calibrate at Unity PF then PF is not getting accurate at 0.5PF , and if we do at 0.5PF it will not be proper at Unity PF. its like vice versa.

we are using below sequence please correct us what we are missing .

Calibration Procedure

First WE do the voltage calibration.

1. VOLTAGE CALIBRATION:
gEmSWConfig.meterConfig->phaseConfigPtr[gCommandHandler.calibPhaseIdx].phaseCalibPtr->voltageSF =
temp_data_volt;
temp_data_volt is manually changed for setting voltage at 300V

2. Current CALIBRATION:
gEmSWConfig.meterConfig->phaseConfigPtr[gCommandHandler.calibPhaseIdx].phaseCalibPtr->currentSF =
temp_data_amp;
temp_data_amp is manually changed for setting ampete at 5.000A

3. ANGLE CALIBRATION at 0.5PF LAG
gEmSWConfig.meterConfig->phaseConfigPtr[EM_PH_A_IDX].phaseCalibPtr->phaseCorrection = (angle << 10 | (fractional_part_angle & 0x3FF));

-->angle and fractional_part_angle that we are changing manully while doing calibration.
--> EM_PH_A_IDX ,this is phase selection.-

Hi Ray,

I would recommend that they calibrate the system using the EMDC GUI. Then, after doing so, they can apply the calibration factors to INFO memory or manually update them afterwards in the code.

Good Day. Please see below the latest status of the query from the customer. Thank you very much.

James Evans, MSP Applications Engineer at Texas Instruments has provided EMDC Calibration Process ,we have calibrated through it.

Now there is one problem we are facing that active energy readings are not accurate.

Its showing error of 4Wh(total 496WH) at total of 500Wh.

We have calibrated energy error from EMDC GUI software in which there is a energy error correction factor provided but it is not displayed how to calibrate active energy in PDF sent by James Evans.

Please provide equations and method for how to calibrate active energy error.
