MSP432E401Y: MSP432 Security Update Tool Support

Hello. I'd like to use the MSP432 Security Update Tool with an MSP432E401Y processor. The subtitle to the page (MSP432-SECURITY-AND-UPDATE-TOOL IDE, configuration, compiler or debugger | TI.com) is "MSP432P4xx Security and Update Tool". Will the tool also work for the MSP432E4xx devices, or is there a separate download for that?

Hi Brian,

This tool is only intended to work with MSP432P4xx products. I'm not aware of a similar tool for MPS432E4xx products.

Is there an application note or other reference/code that you can recommend that outlines the steps for setting code protection on the MSP432E401y flash memory?

I did see some discussion on flash security and associated registers in the TRM:

You can find the code examples we have for this device in resource explorer:

I don't know that we have code examples for flash protection.
