Can't find Grace 3 in CSS App Center

I've just installed Code Composer Studio 6 and want to use Grace 3. According to http://www.ti.com/tool/grace:

"Grace 3 is available to any MSP430 user who has installed Code Composer 6.x. Once you have installed CCS 6, you will see an option to download the Grace 3 beta via the CCS App Center."

However, I can't find Grace 3 anywhere in the CSS App Center (clicking "See more" doesn't reveal it either). Where do I find it, and how do I install it?

Hi,

Grace is not installed with CCS nor is available in the App Center anymore. I moved your post to the MSP forum as they can comment better on the status of the support for the Grace tool.

I think Grace was removed from the CCS 6 App Center due to issues with missing dependencies.

The thread these days i cant find grace in the app center by using ccs 6.1.3 has a link to a standalone version of Grace.

I gathered that, too. My problem right now is that I've taken over some code that requires Grace and I have a tight deadline before adding a feature. Even a stand-alone version won't solve the problem that the build is now failing. Tool specific helpers such as Grace are a dual-edged sword: they can speed up your initial development but as a general rule they're soon discontinued and leave you kind of hosed.

As Chester mentioned, Grace was removed from CCS v6.1.3 and will not be supported as a CCS plug-in in future CCS versions. Since you need to use Grace, try downloading and installing CCS v6.1.2 (found here). You'll have to manually install it using the App Center, but this should help you get started and hopefully addresses the problem with your failing build.
