MCF8316AEVM: MCF8316AEVM: Won't connect to PC

Hi Experts,

Good day.

My MCF8316AEVM could not connect to my PC. I use MCF8316AEVM GUI to connect MCF8316AEVM via USB, the power is 12V. The Gui always shows connecting to the target, but can't connect my device. The D1, D4, and D6 LEDs are on.

I did follow the MCF8316AEVM: No detection of EVM
(1) download the offline installer, but I don't know how to open offline Gui, or it just is installed and doesn't need to be opened?
(2) D1 ,D4 and D6 LED is on
(3) uninstalling the TI Cloud Agent and installing again, launching the GUI in your web browser again.
MCF8316AEVM also can not be connected， it always shows installing the Windows driver

Please advise

Hi Josel,

You may need to install FTDI drivers to allow your device to access the right ports. Let me look further into this and get back to you.

Likely this is a problem with drivers on your computer.
