DRV8343-Q1: Abnormal PWM output waveform

Part Number: DRV8343-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DRV8343S-Q1EVM,

Hi team,

Use LAUNCHPAD-F280025C + DRV8343S-Q1EVM + Universal_motorcontrol_lab_f28002x perform the initial test (remove MCU from DRV8343S-Q1EVM and jump with LAUNCHPAD-F280025C) with no abnormal results. So reference the Demo Board for the circuit design.

The custom board has been made, but the test found that there was a drive problem and the three-phase current waveform was clearly abnormal. The PWM waveform output from DRV8343S is significantly different from the PWM waveform output from the MCU.

The following circuit issues are known:

1) The "EN_BR" in TPS68381A, F280025C, DRV8343S will cause the DRV8343S failed to work, so the "EN_BR" of TPS68381A is currently manually wired to F280025C, "En_BR" of DRV8343S disconnected.

2) The SOA and SOC in the F280025C are reversed and are currently manually interchanged.

3) GPIO34 in F280025C does not have nfault connection to DRV8343S and is currently manually jumper.

4) GPIO24 and GPIO32 in F280025C do not pull High, currently manually jumper.

5) The SDO and SDI in F280025C have been reversed and are currently manually interchanged.

The motor parameters are as follows:

The test waveforms are as follows:

The circuit diagram of the control panel is as follows:

The circuit diagram of driver board is as follows:

The drive board layout is as follows:

Could you help check this case? Thanks.

Best Regards,

Cherry
