DRV8353F: DRV8353FHRTAR stopping working properly - Gate waveform problem

Part Number: DRV8353F

I'm working on developing a control driver for BLDC motors within the voltage range of 48V to 58.4V, using the DRV8353FHRTAR driver. However, I have encountered a problem during my testing procedure that I have not been able to identify yet. Allow me to provide a detailed explanation below.

Initially, the motor was functioning correctly. However, during the development process, I observed that it started intermittently displaying the nFault signal, which was rapidly blinking. This prompted me to investigate and locate the source of the issue.

I proceeded to measure the Motor Phases (U, V, and W), as well as the nFault pin using an oscilloscope. I noticed that the nFault signal was only active during the period when Phase V was active. To further investigate, I measured the waveform on Phase V, the high Mosfet gate of Phase V, and the INHA pin of the DRV8353FHRTAR.

It was apparent that the signal arrived with the correct square waveform on the INHA pin. However, the waveform emitted to the transistor gate via the GHA pin appeared to be distorted. To verify this, I replaced the motor and measured the other phases, confirming that only Phase V is exhibiting this issue.

Please find below the oscilloscope measurements and the waveform I have identified:

I hope this explanation clarifies the situation and provides a clear understanding of the problem I am facing.
