I have a doubt for this IC, Its working good,but  i connect my stepper with the kit the chip (DRV8825) starts heating up. 

Please how to avoid this issue.

    Is it hitting thermal shutdown (TSD). Are you using our DRV8825EVM or is it your own board design (if so, can you provide the layout and schematic)? What is the load you are driving and the application for this?
