MCT8316Z: Can we deactivate the buck regulator?

We want the internal AVDD LDO regulator to be powered from the BULK regulator's output voltage of 5v.
Our design includes a regulated 5v source. Is it possible to connect this source to the FB_BK input and deactivate the buck regulator and thus eliminate the LBK and CBK components?

Hi Mariano,

You can connect the FB_BK to an external 5v source if the buck regulator is not being used on the MCT8316Z. However you will still need to populate the buck regulators external components, although to reduce the BOM we recommend using a small 22 ohm RBK resistor and 22uF capacitor.
