DRV8962: Single BDC control with the DRV8962

In the DS one of the options is to connect only one BDC motor to the driver, while in the EVB the motor and EN/IN  are somehow different, can I connect the EVB to a single BDC motor and how can I control it through the App ?

    Hi Shai,

    Please refer to the EVM top view image in page-44 Appendix A of the EVM User's Guide. You can remove the jumper shorts indicated by red X in the below snippet and bridge the connections shown by the solid red line. After this modification you can use EN1 and IN1 & EN3 and IN3 controls in the GUI app and drive the device. 

    We also have another variant of this product DRV8262 which has native support for paralleling two H-bridges for a single H-bridge operation.
