Hello, I'm new with Haptic.

I using DRV2605LEVM-MD and using closed loop but can't trigger the actuator at its resonance frequency 120~130 HZ.

And I also do the "Auto Calibration Procedure" from datasheet and the state of reg (DIAG_RESULT)show Auto-calibration passed.

Please help me how to set the library waveform to 120HZ with closed loop, thanks a lot.

Sorry the topic about auto calibration failed is that I use GUI auto calibration button show failed. I follow the datasheet to change the register to do auto calibration is OK

To confirm, auto calibration is passing for you now?

In closed loop mode, the DRV2605L will track and drive the LRA at its resonance frequency using its auto resonance tracking feature. In this mode you do not need to set a frequency. This below image shows the register for setting closed loop / auto resonance mode.

Dear Sydney:

Thanks for your reply, I use HapticControlConsole "Run auto calibration" button is failed,

But I follow the Datasheet page.27 8.5.6 "Auto Calibration Procedure" step to set register, andd the DIAG_RESULT shows the Auto-calibration passed at the lsat.

After calibration, I use closed loop and play the waveform library and the waveform is run at about 200HZ which has difference with my LRA actuator (resonance frequency: 120HZ)

Hello,

How are you measuring the frequency? You can read the LRA Resonance Period (Address: 0x22) register to find the period and calculate the frequency, but you must read this register while the actuator is being driven.
