I just had an MCT8329EVM failure exactly like that described in "MCT8329EVM: is this a normal early failure rate issue or a reliability issue or user issue". I was not doing anything out of the ordinary, just starting and stopping the motor. The J12 jumper was in the leftmost position and R56 is populated. That is the way the board was shipped. I'm using a bus voltage of 36V. How can I get a replacement board and how can I prevent this from happening again? I am surprised that you are still shipping boards with this issue 3 months after it became known, and without any warning or documentation of the problem.
