How to Start InstaSPIN Sensorless BLDC

Is this with the motor connected? If so is the motor spinning? If not, can you place a probe on the Phase A BEMF take the controlCARD out, power the board and then spin the motor with your hand and make sure that you can see a sine wave when you turn it.

Thomas, thank you for your advise,

Today I try to debug my circuit step by step.

1. Connect the motor

2. Turn on the power 36V

3. Spin the motor by my hand and measure the Vphase A by osciloscope. I got the sine wave amplitude ~1-2V

4. Build the BLDC_Int and burn to the MCU

5. Measure the PWM_C_High (Yellow) , PWM_A_Low (Blue)  and Current Probe at Phase C (Green)

6.I got the wave form as below.

 I don't know why some state PWM_C_High turn On and PWM_A_Low turn OFF the current don't flow.

Please help me..

Noky,

InstaSPIN-BLDC is a trapizodal control which is why there is only 2 phases on at a time. There is 6 different states and every PWM will be high and low at least once acrossed the phases but to turn thier outputs off we use the reset Phase A,B,C. so even though you see the PWMs on phase C, phase C reset line is low which stops the current flow for that phase.

I'm not sure my DRV8301 work or not.

I measure at phase C only (6 PWM have been generated already)

The Pink is a signal of PWM_C_High from MCU

The Yellow is a signal of the GATE pin at MOSFET C HIGH.

and the Blue is a siganl of Fault pin at DRV8301.

I don't understand why the signal of MOSFET gate is not same pattern of PWM_C_HIGH.

Please advise me... you can inspec my circuir In the attached files.

This waveform is identical to the one I see in another post in the C2000 forum.  Is this issue resolved on your side?  If so, I would like to close this thread.  Please see link below.
