Tool/software:
Hello,
I would like to ask if it makes sense to replace ( one DRV8432DKD + mounted heatsink) with ( two in parallel DRV8142DKD heat dissipation over power pad).
The application is a group of 2x voice coils which require a very dynamic control. Each voice coil requires up to 10A. 24V for PVVD.
Any thoughts on this one? I would of course prefer to use only one motor driver, but I don't find any alternative to the DRV8432 in terms of current output.

Hi Afonso,
Due to subtle switching differences between any two devices externally connected in parallel there'll be potential for momentary shoot through current that may lead to premature device failure. This is not recommended use for this device.
Would the DRV8962 in DDV package or the DRV8262 in DDV package work for you? The max. fPWM in these devices is 200 kHz. These devices support 10 A coil current with an externally mounted heatsink similar to the DRV8432. Thank you.
