DRV8701: MOSFETs are disable for DRV8701

Hi team,

The customer is using DRV8701P.  The customer's issue is  once the power is supplied for his board, all Mosfets are disable.

a. VM is 12.3V and it is stable. VCP is 22V. VREF is set 3V. AVDD is 4.8V and DVDD is 3.3V.

b.  SNSOUT pin is the high level. nsleep pin is the high level.

c. The IN1,IN2,nFault,GH1,GL1,GH2,GL2,SH1 and SH2 waveforms are in the attach. nFault pin is the low level for a long time. 

d. Please check the customer's schematic in the attach.

  • Hi Mickey,

    Please use the Fault response table as a guide to determine if one of the 5 faults listed is the problem. Two channels of the scope should be used.

    Trigger on nFAULT and monitor the other signals (VM, VCP, VDS, GHx, GLx) prior to the fault occurring.
