Good day .

I have made AC Servo Drive (I used TMS320F28069M).

I want to Start learning about EtherCAT interface , to control AC Servo Drive via it ,in most  servo drives like Estun has EtherCAT interface to comunicate between CNC controllers or PLC .

I want to know Where should I start , I have been working  buy Modbus ,Pulse and Direction ,Spi ...

What is the resources for Start doing it.

    Yes,  C2000 MCUs are popular servo drive platform that can support external Ethercat or multiprotocol interfaces. Depending our your applications passing Modbus parameters or pulse/direction information can also be achieved in time sensitive way using Ethernet real time networks ex, Ethercat.

    C2000 to Ethercat interface chip can be either through SPI or EMIF depending on the C2000 MCU family. In your case with F28069, it will be SPI primarily.

    There are two options available to get familiar with TI solutions for Ethercat and multi-protocol.

    Please review these TI designs and Blog to get familiar with the basics. There are enough Ethercat training material suggested in the Blog that can get you started or allow you to make the selection.
