Hi team,

I want to use "Wave Builder" function of Haptics Control Console for DRV2511EVM.

But when I enable Wave Builder and push start button, the PWM+/- outputs common phase signal which result in differentially 0V on OUT+/-.

I could drive the solenoid by shorting IN- to GND for single end drive.

But is it possible to change the firmware to be able to drive differential signal on IN+/-?

Hi Shinji,

I looked into this and the inputs appear to be differential. See the image above of the pre-programmed sine wave with 1ms time step between points.

Hi Kelly,

I captured the PWM+/- (actually it was captured after LPF on board.) as below.

I change the setting like sine wave, triangular, Impulse, Infinite, single shot... but it always shows in phase signal on both PWM+ and PWM-.

Could you advise why I cannot see differential signal?

Here is the capture of the GUI.

My board are DRV2511Q1EVM AAP063E2.

I could see differential waveform on PWM+/- if I use standard drive tab.

I updated the firmware to 1p5 and the issue resolved.
