Dear, Sir.
My customer is evaluating DRV8703-Q1. During that, They are facing following
symptom on /SLEEP & /FAULT.
/FAULT Glitch(LOW) during aprox. several 100us ~ 1ms can be observed at
/SLEEP LOW<=>HIGH.
1. Is it a normal behavior which DRV8703-Q1 has?
2. If it was normal, Is it possible to define maximum duration of /FAULT=LOW?
Considering the solution such as doublle reading by MCU, the duration would
be significant. Please give your advice.
Best Regards,
H. Sakai
Dear, Sir.
The customer tried to remove 1uF capacitor on DVDD, the glitch on /FAULT
under /SLEEP HIGH => LOW is disappeared, but still remaining under
/SLEEP LOW => HIGH.
It is the additional information about this issue.
Please give your advice.
Best Regards,
H. Sakai
Dear, Wang-san.
Thank you so much for your information.
I understood it is the normal behavior.
I am expecting to describe on the datasheet or additional application note.
Best Regards,
H. Sakai
Sakai,
You are right. We added this to our datasheet update list.
Thank you for your feedback.
