HI Sir

The DRV8803 data sheet show the 0.8 A per channels, is it mean continuous current or Peak?

i use the DRV8803 to drive 0.5 A per channels for RY, but the evb is very hot,thanks

    Hi Alex,

    The datasheet states 0.8A per channel continuous.

    What evb is being used? If it is not the DRV8803EVM:
    what is the size of the evb?
    what is the copper thickness?
    how are the 6 ground pins of the DW package connected to the board?
    What does "RY" mean?
    What does "very hot" mean?
