DRV2667EVM-CT: bin file to Hex file

Part Number: DRV2667EVM-CT

Dear Sir,

Since Work Mode with "FIFO Playback" have to load Hex file (as attached picture), I have to convert bin file to Hex file because RAMManager of Haptic Control Console only can output bin file.

As I know, there are several kinds of format of Hex file.

What kind of Hex file have to load in FIFO Playback?

How to convert the bin file to Hex file?

Hi, TY,

The hex file in the FIFO playback must be composed of up to 100 bytes data in twos complement hex format. Keep in mind that each data will be sampled at 8KHz. Also, the full-scale value is 0x7F, mid-scale is 0x00 and maximum negative voltage is 0x80.

I made a waveform with Wavesynthesizer then exported it to bin file by RAMManager.

How to convert the bin file exported from RAMManger to the Hex file for FIFO Playback?

The FIFO and the RAM Manager have a different format due to the 8KHz sampling rate of the FIFO playback.

I will close this e2e thread in order to continue the support in the other e2e case.
