DRV2510-Q1: The tolerance of GAIN value to DRV2510

Hi teams,

From the datasheet of DRV2510, the tolerance of gain inside DRV2510 is about +/- 10%. We wonder if it is possible that the gain of IN+ port is +10%, while the IN- side is -10%.

For example, IN+ is 26dB and IN- is 25dB in one driver IC is possible?

Hi, Yun,

This is a good question, but the gain error is actually applied equal for both inputs. The gain is not applied directly to the inputs, it is applied after the differential amplifier. So you can be sure that the same gain error will be applied for both inputs.

By the way, could we know whether there is temperature characteristics for the GAIN value.

There is not any description about that from datasheet.

Thanks for your information.

According to the contents written in your file, it seems the GAIN value comes from what measured from bulk ICs.

Could you let us know, how many the samples that have been measured.

This information comes from the characterization team. This information comes from a lot of around 5000 samples.
