Hi team,

I have a question to Open Load detection time (tol).

If an open load is removed in a time shorter than tol, will the next open load detection be detected in a time shorter than tol because open load counter is remained?

Or does the open load is detected by same time of tol in the next open load detection?

    Nishimura-san,

    I will need to check with the design team for you.  The datasheet does not specify a max deglitch period between clearing and restarting the TOL timer, or if such a mechanism exists (though I suspect there is).

    Nishimura-san,

    If the current in the winding goes back above 30mA (the open load current threshold) within the Tol window, the timer will clear and restart when current drops below 30mA again.
