LM5160-Q1: EN/UVLO pin control Schematic review

Hi Daniel,

Customer has created a schematic diagram to control EN/UVLO pins.

We think LM5160 will shut down if EN pin is low(0V).

However, in the board test, the EN pin is low (0V), but the Vout is working.

Please review the schematic.

for below waveform, the EN=GND, do you have EN=-10.5GND waveform?

Each waveform measured the red arrow points in the schematic.

Is the schematic red point waveform what you want?

from the waveform you attached, I can see the EN is pull down to GND_BAT, if customer want to shutdown the device, they need to pull down EN voltage to GND_-10.5V.

if customer pull down EN voltage to -10.5V, the converter still working, pls attached waveform T1-PIN2 and U1-PIN4(EN PIN) when EN=-10.5V

The customer tested it by connecting a pull-down with GND_-10.5V.

However, the EN voltage is not -10.5V.

Please give us a guide to turn the EN voltage to 10.5V.

if customer don't level shift circuit to pull down EN to -10.5V, customer can refer below article

The customer connected the EN pin to the GND_-10.5V.

The customer didn't know how to drop the EN pin -10.5V, so he asked for a guide.
