Other Parts Discussed in Thread: EV2400, BQSTUDIO
Hello,
My BQ27421-G1 is giving me erroneous state of charge, so I decided do do a full Learning Cycle using Battery Management Studio 1.3.101 trough he EV2400 USB to i2c adapter.
However the TI application note "Achieving The Successful Learning Cycle", that I found on the BQ27241 product page, is referencing buttons and functions that do not appear on Battery Management Studio when connected to that fuel gauge:
However the GAUGE_EN command does not seem to exist for that gauge, as you can see it is not on the Commands section on the right hand side.
Furthermore, when I launch a learning cycle, the Status immediately goes to Discharge (as you can see with the following screenshot), regardless of what the battery voltage is. I did not manage to get the tool to do the full cycle (Start-Relax-Charge-Relax).
Would you be able to help me achieve the procedure correctly?
Thank you
