Hi team,

My customer is wondering if when TPS7B7701/7702-Q1 has no input, could our device support PIN short to battery test(16V)?

Hi James,

When Vin is provided, internally, each channel detects the short-to-battery by comparing the voltage at the OUT and IN pins before the switch turns on. When Vin is floating, applying a 16V on the output is not likely to damage the part, and I would say the TPS7B770X-Q1 should be able to support this test.
