Hello Sir:

Our customer is using BQ40z50-R2.

When SOV happened, then send command 0x0029 and 0x002A to clear PF data and Black Recorder data.

But how to clear the PF flag of OperationStatus[PF]?

Please help to provide recommendations for us.

Hi Statham,

You can clear the PF flag by sending the PF Clear command in bqStudio. The PF condition will need to be false in order to clear it, otherwise the gauge will set the PF flag again.

Hi Statham,

I'm not sure I understand your question. In the ppt you provided, the PF flag is set in the first picture and cleared in the last picture. Are you trying to disable PF protections or just clear the flag after a PF event occurs?

Hi Statham,

Looking at your ppt, it looks like the PF flag is getting cleared and reset. Please make sure that all PF conditions are cleared, otherwise it will set the bit again. It looks like XCHG and XDSG are getting reset as well so your protections are still getting triggered.
