BQ25606: need a 5V SYS output capability while still charging battery?

Part Number: BQ25606
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ25895

Hi Team,

I'm using the BQ25606 Standalone 3.0-A Single Cell Battery Charger with a 3V7 Li-Po battery (capacity 270mAh) and a micro-USB connector connected to the VBUS as charger input voltage (D+ and D- left unconnected).

VSYS output follows VBAT when operating without the VUSB_IN, however as we want to interface this charger to another IC, which as a minimum of 4.5V input voltage, this solution won’t work anymore as we can have a max of 4.2V on VSYS when the battery is fully charged.

Do you have any suggestions on a charger IC that would provide a fixed 5V output voltage (max output current 100mA) and allow both a 3V7 single-cell Li-Po and 5V USB as input source?
