Hi,
I downloaded spice model for TPS62243-Q1(Buck converter) and tried simulation in both Ltspice and pSpice. The IC shown in datasheet has only 5 pins, but the Spice model has an extra pin (Mode-pin) and it showing error even if it is pulled high/low or left floating and there is no Webench Power Designer for TPS62243-Q1. How could the error be rectified and Is there any other way to simulate it??
Thanks and Regards,
Nivethitha.D
Hi Nivethitha,
TPS62243-Q1 model is based on non automotive part. That's the reason it is showing 6 pin instead of 5 pin. You can connect Mode pin to GND and PSPICE model will work. I ran the simulation with similar configuration and it looks okay. You can download PSPICE from TI.com
Best regards,
Tanvee
Could u please share the screenshot of the simulation with Output??
Thanks and Regards,

Hi Nivethitha,
I have run simulation with PSPIC model. please find attachment with simulation file and results.
can you simulate again with PSPICE model?
Best regards,
Tanvee
Hi Tanvee,
Thanks for the reply!
TPS62243-Q1 is given as automotive part and also, the part you have send as simulation is TPS62240.
For our design, we need Fixed 1.8V and for that we need simulation to confirm it.
