Hi

The customer design with BQ24171. The charging profile is different with the datasheet, attached the charging profile and schematic.

It turns off after reaching 10% Icharge cut-off current. Is this normal behavior?

please give some suggestions.

    Dear Star,

    Can you please explain your setup more? Can you please explain the scales (ie which one is voltage and current)? The full charge voltage is 12.327 V, but the highest either scale goes up to is 2.6 units. What adapter are you using when this is happening? What is the input voltage and the input current when this is happening?

    The input voltage is 14V, current is 1.5A.

    Dear Star,

    Does the customer have a system load? For a buck converter the voltage drop results in a current increase between the input current and output current for the same amount of power. Yet, from the attached data it shows that the input current is above the charging current. Also, it appears that the input adapter the customer is using is limited to 1.30 A.
