TPS546C20A: WEBENCH Simulation Bandwidth

Part Number: TPS546C20A

Good day everybody, could someone help me out on selecting compensation design? The first design is generated entirely by WEBENCH, with inductor and output capacitors customized. The second design is the same, but with compensation section customized to my own calculated component values. I noticed bandwidth and phase margin differences on them.

Since the switching frequency is 300kHz, would 1/10 of it for ~30kHz of bandwidth be a good choice? ~14kHz of bandwidth on the generated design is only 1/20 of the switching frequency.

What would the detriments be on the design if the bandwidth is too high, or too low?

Thanks for the help.

Generated by WEBENCH: Cross Freq 14.236kHz; Phase Margin 51.344°

Calculated compensation, replaced components and simulated on WEBENCH: Cross Freq 30.056kHz ; Phase Margin 59.807°
