BQ25601D: BQ25601D can not pull INT when at 5 Degree

Part Number: BQ25601D

Dear Sir/Ms.

My customer tested their products in an environment with a low temperature of about 5 degrees C, and found that Charge Full and INT PIN could not be triggered. The same phenomenon was found when using EVM and VR simulation.
Below is the customer's test
1. The customer has given me the circuit diagram of BQ25601D. If necessary, please email me and I will send it to you. My Email: kami.huang@arrowasia.com

2. The customer connects CN102 in the circuit diagram to the battery NTC through a wire.

I removed the NTC connected to the battery and changed it to a variable resistor VR to simulate the temperature change of the NTC. The setting of the voltage divider resistor can be used to replicate the appearance without actually entering the ring furnace. It is found that it can be simulated.

The measured VR resistance value is 18.86K, BQ25601D PIN 11 voltage is 3.396V, VREGN=4.96V, according to SPEC VT2 (10°C) threshold 67.2%~69% VREGN (3.33~3.4224V)

3. The external input condition of the customer is that the input voltage is 5V,
The input is from the CN104 Micro USB connector.
BAT charge current 16.5mA
Register settings such as 00~0B as shown in the figure below.

To add, the customer said that the charging current will become smaller, but it cannot trigger INT and Charge full register. The customer has a complete test report, and the circuit diagram and test report have customer information. It is not convenient for me to put it on the E2E. If necessary, you can give it to me. Private message or Email, I will email to you.

Are there any registers that need to be set? Are there any register flags that need to be cleared?

Best Regards,

Kami Huang
