BQ25601: Value in CHRG_STAT during top-off timer

Hi Team, 

Just want to check the value in  CHRG_STAT during top-off timer. Based on test, it's 11. But to my understanding, the charger detect the current in batfet to see if it is charging or not, so since there is still Ibat during top-off time, it should be 10 ( fast charging). Please kindly add your comments, thanks.

    Hi Given,

    Since the topoff timer begins counting only when Termination occurs, the CHRG_STAT will report 11. The device logic takes into account that, although current is flowing through the BATFET, this is only because of the topoff timer and termination has already occurred. If TOPOFF timer is being used in an application, one can get an accurate picture of the charging status by reading both the CHRG_STAT as well as TOPOFF_ACTIVE, which will report when the topoff charging is active.
