TPS2663: Can TPS26631 withstand 12A 3ms with 6ms spacing between the pulses

HI TI support team,

Currently we use TPS26630 chip as automotive application. Our customer request us to pass the waveform of peak 12A 3ms duration with 6ms spacing.

However TPS26630 can not withstand the pulses, we pretend to change the TPS26630 to TPS26631 due to the pin 2 pin, could TPS26631 withstand the pulses as the following waveform?

please help review the schematic if we change the chip to TPS26631.

Vin: 10-16V

I: continue 3A, peak 12A 3ms duration with 6ms spacing, there can be up to 4 pulses per second

The schematic looks good to me. TPS26631 should be able to support the pulse load profile.

you could order an EVM to check before building your board.

Can you share me the application and end system details. ? what is the load ?

We don't receive the spec of end system, but also it will be placed lidar or camera.
