Dear Sir/Ms.
My customer wants to make an ASIL-D product. The part of the power input wants to design LM74800. As I know that the ASIL-D specification requires functional safety in the whole system. If the customer wants to meet the ASIL-D specification, does the LM74800 need to add others components and circuits? Or can the LM74800 be regarded as an ideal diode without adding circuits?
If needed to add components and circuits, is there any circuit I can refer to?
