I ordered 10 samples of the PQ25672RQMT when they became available (pre production) After placing on our board they seem to be providing the boost function and the actual parts are labeled as below:
TI
PQ2579x
HRS A0
05A2CR8
Are these 25672 or are they 25792? If the latter can the PL send me several 672 for evaluation since these were shipped incorrectly? They are not available through distribution. We would like to get in line and place a volume order but would like to verify the 672 first.
Second question. What is the reverse mode mentioned as the difference in the 792 vs the 672?
Hi Charles,
Yes, preproduction BQ25672 were actually PQ2579x which had the boost function. Unfortunately, I have no way to send you ICs. My recommendation is to sign up online to be notified when stock is available.
Reverse mode is what he used to call OTG. It is the same for 792 and 672, i.e. full buck-boost.
Regards,
Jeff
