Using completely new devices.
When the EV2400 is connected the version number displays within bqstudio, therefore I believe that the usb connection is fine.
Regardless of the connection port used on the EV2400 to the BQ34Z100 the version number does not appear within bqstudio and connection icon is greyed out, no connection seems to occur and message "Auto Detect Device: None" appears before selecting device type in bqstudio. there is also a stream of "No acknowledgement from device" error messages.
Therefore I assume there is a connection issue between the EV2400 and BQ34Z100?
I have the default jumper settings as described in the guide for the BQ34Z100EVM. Initially there was no battery connected, but now I am using a 4S lipo with voltage currently at 15.3V. Jumpers for 16V and 36V options have been tried. There is no load connected.
Pressing the push button on the BQ34Z100EVM causes LED9 to glow dimly for a couple of seconds before going off again. No other sign of life visible on the board.
Any suggestions or tests that I can do to check where the issue is?
