LM5122ZA: LM5122ZA Negative Input Negative Output

Hi,

I am wondering if I can design the LM5122ZA with negative Input and negative output configuration?
I know in the datasheet it shows the circuit diagram of negative input to postivie out.

Hi Dehuan,

Thank you for replying.

The Input voltage is -48V

The output voltage is -15V

And output current is 2A.

I know the TPS40210DGQ has the above specs, however, I want more safety margine between my input voltage and the maximum input voltage of TPS40210DGQ.

Hence, I want to know if LM5122ZA can be designed for negative input (-48V) to negative output (-15V), or perhaps a more suitable IC.

It is can be use done, like below. See below and replace the diode with the sync FET.
