TPS543620: BP5 cap maximum value

Hi Team,

The customer is going to use 4.7uF/16V cap for the BP5 cap, is there any concern? Or do we requirement for the maximum value of BP5 cap? Thank you.

Hi Mike,

We (Design) ran simulations for 0.77uF and 2.2uF.

The recommended value for BP5 cap is 2.2 uF.

The concern might be stability of the LDO with large output caps at light loads which has not been looked at for 4.7uF.
