TPS63710: Understanding the Circuit reference node.

Part Number: TPS63710

Hi,

We are designing a 5V to -3.3V down converter using the part TPS63710DRR, We would like to understand whether the GND node should be connected in between the Inductor and the output capacitor or it should be as per the attached image. We have cross verified with the EVM schematics and found that EVM Sch is as per the attached image (our implementation). If the implementation is to be followed as per EVM and the below image, wouldn't it raise the Potential of the GND node to +3.3V? which may lead to erroneous GND references for the rest of the section. Kindly clarify on the query as early as possible.
