Dear support

The 3-17V 4.0A Step-Down Converter TPS62136 seems to be not available at the moment.

Is there any rough estimation, when the TPS62136 is available again?

After a board redesign, we would have the chance to use a similar available part.

Could you please recommend us such a part.

    Hi Fredi,

    Similar parts are the ones below (TPS62136/TPS621361/TPS62135/TPS621351). There are differences in switching frequency and other features like output discharge and current limit schemes. Do you intend to use the entire output current of 4A on these devices? With 3A or lower, many other options may open up but they may require board redesign. For inventory questions, I would recommend contacting TI customer support at https://ticsc.service-now.com/csm/ as they have the latest information about availability.

    Thank you for the answer. It seems that all 4 parts are not available at the moment. But I will ask the support team.

    At least for the main power supply voltages, we need this 4A. But for others 3A or 2A would be also okay. Are there available parts with the same features?

    Hi Fredi,

    For the 2A and 3A, I would recommend taking a look at TPS62902 and TPS62903 respectively. It has all features the TPS62135/6 has with better efficiency, output accuracy and smaller size.
