Hello,
I see that it is possible to design a three phase PFC with UCC28180 on the DC side, I have two questions:
1) is there some literature about?
2) which is the typical THD?
Thank you and best regards,
Marco

Hi Marco,
Thank you for your interest in the UCC28180. I know this same idea has been posed by several customers (here's one example: https://e2e.ti.com/support/power-management-group/power-management/f/power-management-forum/879526/ucc28180-reference-design-for-three-phase-input), however, we do not have literature on using the UCC28180 in 3-phase system and therefore, no THD specs. The C2000 digital controller does have a reference design for a 3-phase Vienna rectifier: https://www.ti.com/lit/ug/tiducj0b/tiducj0b.pdf; the THD specs are on p3.
I'm sorry we don't have more information on this topic for the UCC28180.
Regards,
Ray
Hello Ray,
thank you, I know that thread.
I know the Vienna application too but I want to maintain the project simple and without SW code.
Regards,
Marco
