Hi team,
Notice that there is one USB2ANY needed when use BQ25180EVM in BQ2518x EVM User's Guide.
How to use BQ25180EVM without USB2ANY for customer? Thanks.
BR,
William
Hi William,
Evaluation of the BQ25180 is best used with the USB2ANY for working with our easy to use TI Charger GUI. The User Guide is meant as a easy step by step guide to follow to explore some of the device features.
If no USB2ANY is available, any I2C bus that can read and write through I2C is fine.
If a customer has used the EV2400 with Battery Management Studio, they can take a look at this thread: https://e2e.ti.com/support/power-management-group/power-management/f/power-management-forum/1098996/bq25181evm-battery-management-studio/4081241#4081241
