hi TI guys

when I read the article about how to calculate the value of RC snubber :

in the text, step2 said the rectifier's capacitance is 22pF , but I didn't find the parametre in the datasheet

pls help me

Hello Robin,

Thanks for the inquiry. I would use the output capacitance, Coss, of the CSD18540Q5B. Typical value specified in the datasheet is 622pF. Choose a value between 2.2nF and 3.3nF for the snubber capacitor as a starting point. Then you can follow the 7 steps method to choose the snubber resistor and fine tune the values for your application. Let me know if I can be of any further assistance.
