Hello TI,

I am using UB26650-7.2V-5000mAh battery pack, which have Inbuilt Short circuit protection circuit, it has two 26650 cell which connected in series and i have only 2 battery connection which is Pack+ and Pack-.

Battery Pack,

Nominal voltage- 7.4V

Charging voltage- 8.4V

Capacity- 5000mAh

BQ28Z610EVM-532 can support UB26650 battery, if yes, guide us how need to interface with BQ28Z610EVM..?

Hello Rahul,

bq28z610 needs connections at the cell level. If you want to attach a pack, you may want to look at other products like bq34z100.

But on TI page there is clearly mention it's Support Pack and thats why i order EVM.

Hey Shirish,

You mention connection i already made and tested, In this thread https://e2e.ti.com/support/power-management-group/power-management/f/power-management-forum/1120356/bq28z610evm-532-how-to-configure-battery-pack-of-2s-with-bq28z610 you mention that to create a test point connection between cell 1 and cell 2 in the battery pack, which is created but on BQstudio Battery voltage shows 4V only which is 1S voltage.

Hello Rahul,

I think we are having trouble understanding your problem.

1. bqStudio shows 6050mV in the screenshot of the other post. It seems that you got the connections right

2. Were you able to set the design capacity and initial parameters in data memory? Which documents are you using as a reference?
