Hello Forum,

The only mention of BQ24075T in the specs is on page 6 where the difference between BQ24075 and BQ24075T is the method (voltage vs current) of monitoring the battery temperature.

Can it therefore be assumed that the parts are fully interchangeable and the difference is only internal?

Hi Igor,

Yes, the method of TS is the only difference. These are fully pin to pin compatible but it is important to adjust the TS portion of the schematic.

Hi Anthony,

My original question was, are these parts interchangeable. If BQ24075T requires 2 additional resistors to set a voltage divider for the temperature monitoring to work, than the answer is NO.
